The Art of Training

Dressage is more than a collection of movements. It is the progressive development of both horse and rider—building the balance, strength, understanding, and communication that allow them to progress together.

The goal is not simply to perform the movements, but to develop a horse and rider who understand one another well enough to perform them together with clarity, confidence, and harmony.

The Trainer

Training horses has always been about the process for me. My career has been built through years of riding and developing horses at every stage—from young horses beginning their careers to experienced Grand Prix horses.

Before the age of 30, I had earned four invitations to the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions with two horses I developed through the FEI levels, competing three times across the Junior, Young Rider, and Small Tour divisions. I also developed a third horse through Grand Prix, earning my USDF Gold Medal.

That experience continues to shape how I develop every horse and rider in my program today.
